The dissolution rate of the complex was signiï¬?cantly higher than those of either untreated menthol or a physical mixture of menthol and β-cyclodextrin. This work thus demonstrated that supercritical CO2 could be successfully used to achieve inclusion complexes of menthol with β-CD.
