The complex resulted was characterized with X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and differential scanning calorimetry. The characterization data confirmed the production of the inclusion complex at a maximum yield of 93.75 %. The dissolution rate of the complex was signiï¬?cantly higher than those of either untreated menthol or a physical mixture of menthol and β-cyclodextrin. This work thus demonstrated that supercritical CO2 could be successfully used to achieve inclusion complexes of menthol with β-CD.Item type | Current location | Call number | Status | Date due | Barcode | Item holds |
